Silence Your Fears

Leveraging Kaizen
The Japanese principle of “Kaizen”, or continuous improvement, teaches us that small, ongoing positive changes can reap significant improvements. You’ve likely seen the “get 1% better each day” memes across social media or have read about it in a Jade Bonacolta blog. This is because Kaizen is simply the most powerful factor of personal branding. Applying Kaizen to personal branding, we understand that the journey to mastery begins with a single, albeit imperfect, step forward. And from this imperfect step forward, we learn to take the next step, and the next, and the next… until it compounds into a million dollars. We want our brand and our content to be perfect before we begin but it’s not about achieving perfection on the first try. Kaizen teaches us to embrace the process of consistent, incremental change. Personal Branding Masterclass

Developing a personal brand takes time. It’s not done overnight. 

In this lesson, we’re going to go over a couple of great personal brands most of you have heard of, and a couple brands you likely didn’t.

Gary Vaynerchuk: Known for his expertise in digital marketing and social media, Gary Vaynerchuk built his personal brand by providing immense value through content, being authentically himself, and engaging with his community. Some love him, some hate him.

Oprah Winfrey: Oprah’s personal brand is built on empathy, generosity, and the power of storytelling. She leverages her platform to inspire, educate, and empower her audience. Her name has become linked with wholesome content, charitable activity, and a media empire.

Elon Musk: Musk’s personal brand revolves around innovation, risk-taking, and a vision for the future of humanity. He uses social media effectively to communicate directly with the public and share his projects and visions.

Marie Forleo: An entrepreneur and motivational speaker, Marie Forleo has built a personal brand centered around the belief that anyone can achieve their dreams if they’re willing to work hard and persevere. 

None of these people started off with amazing personal brands.

These brands were built over time.

These brands were built with hard work.

These brands were built with the right connections.

Proof that if you put in the work, time takes care of the rest.
